Awesome travel toiletries. Yes, toiletries.

Last year I fond this fantastic little "Celebrity" travel toiletry kit at a yard sale for, oh, ten cents.

It's ok, you can be jealous.

I'm excited to get to use it on a two week roadtrip with my aunt, uncle, and four girl cousins.

It came with three bottles, two jars, one soap case, brush/comb, and pair of matching slippers.

Slippers!!!!

Makeup and toothbrush in the back pouch, shampoo, body wash, cleanser, deodorant, tinted moisturizer, and concealer in the containers.
Photobucket
Headscarf, brush, and pouch of bobby pins in the other pouch.

Am I the only one amazed with this comb brush? Or...crush.

Unfortunately I think I'll have to leave the slippers behind, as there's no room, and the soapdish spot has been replaced by deodorant.

And there is proof that the past had cooler everyday things than now. At least what you can get for ten cents...

Okay, that comb is pretty much the awesome-est thing I have ever beheld.

That is way too fantastic. I think what really kills me are the matching slippers. Did they originally fit in those side sleeves?

I adore this! Why can't they make things like this anymore? I'd love to recreate one. I really like the print of it as well.

yep, I think that's the one reason I'd want to travel back to the past... for all teh beauty that's put into everyday things. Houses have beautiful carpentry, dresses intricate details, hair perfectly coiffed! *Sigh*xox

You're right! I am jealous! A little too jealous actually. And that is tooo adorable. I think the idea of it being only a dime makes it even more exciting. :)

How adorable! I just love the compactness of the entire kit; so much better than what my toiletries kit looks like! hehe.

As I am about to go on a trip myself, I am SUPER jealous of you as I am trying to figure out how on earth I am going to pack everything.

And you're haircut is super cute, by the way.

Cheers!

This is too fabulous for words. The "crush" (great naming there), the slippers... Sigh. I remember always finding my family's toiletries bag wonderful when I was a child - it wasn't anywhere near as amazing as this, but it had a certain vintage quality when I think back to it now, and a lovely smell... Okay, that sounds weird, but you know how smells make you nostalgic. I imagine it was made of the same kind of plasticy fabric as this one.

My current toiletries bag is modern but with an old feel to it. They really are lovely things. Anything with mini compartments and bottles is always somehow fun and satisfying.

Incredible. I love all the tininess of it all. Travel sized goods are so cute. The print is lovely too.

Ooh, jealous! Love that print. I'm an easy mark - vintage and aqua gets me every time.

Fabulous blog, btw. I am a follower but have never posted. Stop by every so often to see what new cuteness you're wearing. Never disappoints.
