Twin Peaks is on Netflix streaming!
Sam and I spent Saturday watching some of the first season. We were introduced to it by my brother a couple of winters ago, and when you watch it with him, you get the inside scoop on everything :)
I guess I could best describe it as a quirky show, about a small northwest logging town (woooo! represent!), which is struck with the murder of a young high school girl. The investigation uncovers loads of small town secrets, backwards talking dreams, and endless coffee and doughnuts.
So if you haven't seen it, give it a try, if you have, then I'm sure you won't mind watching it again ;)

Gosh, I remember when i was a kid and this came out! It was HUGE! I also remember watching about three episodes before I finally realized that I had no idea what was going on because it was way too grown up for me! Maybe I should revisit it now as an adult!
I will definitely add that show to my Instant Queue! Since I'm home pretty much everyday now, I go through shows on Netflix like nobodies business.

I love Twin Peaks! One of David Lynch's best creations, and Kyle MacLachlan's character is just fantastic.
When the fog is in, and the fog horns blow (near Golden Gate Bridge), you can hear them in many areas of the city.

Love this show, I was so young when it released, but I watched it recently... how could I live without it? So weird and lovely at the same time, and full of 40tish & 50tish nods...

It's my favourite tv show - I watched the whole series 8 years ago when I moved in with my boyfriend and we're hoping to watch the entire series again soon :)

I started watching Twin Peaks when it first came out, ahem, don't figure out age here! haha! The best line in the movie is from Kyle M when he says "A good cup of coffee!" or something like that. I still use that line.

I watched this years ago and was obsessed - the movie, the series, the book 'the secret diary of Laura Palmer'... etc. I had forgotten it, thanks for reminding! Sherilyn Fenn is so gorgeous, it's amazing her career never got beyond small time parts afterwards. And poor Lara Flynn Boyle, she ended up a travesty of plastic surgery and body anxiety. I must watch this again : )

Good to know someone else gets excited over new stuff on Netflix streaming! I am obsessed. I love Twin Peaks too! My husband introduced me to it. Watch for David Lynch's guest appearance at the end of the second season. Hilarious!

I've been digging on this show for years and one of my favorite things about it is Audrey Horne's amazing, sexy vintage bombshell style! Sherilyn Fenn is a gorgeous actress whose classic beauty is used to full effect in Twin Peaks!
haha! I live in North Bend, where they shot Twin Peaks and most of the monuments are still there, I've never seen the show, but I've had a few slices of Twin Peaks Cherry Pie from the local diner and grew up hiking the John Wayne Trail which is in there a lot I've heard.
I feel lucky to live in such a beautiful area, you step outside your door and you are in the woods...
Love that you chose the exact right shot to show both Audrey's fabulous shoes just as she's changing them at her locker... Perfect.
