Custard Heart Vintage $50 Giveaway!

Here we have a fabulous giveaway sponsored by Custard Heart Vintage! She is offering a $50 gift certificate to use towards any item(s) in her shop (cannot be used toward shipping). Here are some of my favorite items, and to enter, all you need to do is visit the shop and choose your favorite item. Then link it back here in the comments section. For any additional entries, become a follower of the Custard Heart Vintage Blog or follow on Twitter, and leave additional comments saying you did so.

The giveaway is open to international readers, and will close on Monday March 5th, where the winner will be chosen at random and announced.

As I've started tentatively trying to shed years of hyper-shyness and self-consciousness in being expressive in my clothing, and have been slowly starting to make some vintage clothing purchases -- and also inspired by my recent Edwardian-themed wedding -- I've found many antique and vintage dresses from the 19teens-1950's that particularly resonate with my sensibilities.

This
1950's Nat Tuman dress I think is one of my favorites that I saw in Custard Heart Vintage's shop... it seems so simple, but there's a subtle sweetness about it, and the rich brown color makes me think of a pleasant autumn Saturday stroll or a warm and cozy coffeeshop with tasty scone.

(I also really like the 1970's ribbed sweater underneath -- currently working on adding to rather impoverished section of my wardrobe, and this
