Byways Cafe

Photobucket

Here'e a fun photoshoot with Light and Shadow at Byways Cafe. A cute kitschy place with retro decor and little roadtrip trinkets. Too bad they only let us take a few pictures :(

But, perfect place for my new red acorn outfit right? I really wish I had the necklace sellers info so I could show her these, she loved that I had a matching sweater for it, and gave me such a deal the least I can do is show her these two are happy together!

WOW!!! you look SO GORGEOUS in these pics - that combination of bright red & purple REALLY suits your hair, eyes & skin... so beautiful!! i'm especially in love with the way you tied your head scarf - how did you do it? is that a certain technique i can google? i have sooo many vintage scarfs but am terrible at tying them! xoxo

OMG you look AMAZING! There is nothing about these photos I am not smitten with.

Your vintage styling is second to none.

You are anaturally pretty girl but they way you present yourself makes you a total knockout.

This shoot has made my day. You are going on my (non-celebrity) style icon list.

First of all: Adorable.

Second: Can you do a tutorial on the faux bangs? I've seen instructions elsewhere, but I like your hair tutorials best! Also, I like the way yours look better than most others I have seen ~ they look more real, not so bumped out and exaggerated :)

I love you so much! YOu are so beautiful!!!

i love the colour photos, especially the ones which are more 'au natural' (less posed), they look like stills from a 50s/60s hitchcock film, like you've just stopped off at a roadside motel for coffee (but unbeknown to you, you're being chased!)

What a gorgeous outfit. The accessories really pull it all together and I LOVE the headscarf - I've never been able to make mine look anywhere near as good as that!

These photos are fantastic! It all looks so seamlessly 'of the era.' and your acorn sweater is adorable!

I love these little cafes and am happy my little town off rt.66 still has a few. We have one called 'Happy Burger" that's over 50 years old. When I was a kid an MacDonalds moved in right next door to it, you'd think it would have killed it. Well, its still there and the MadDonalds moved across town! Yay for cool little places :)

Why did they only let you take a couple of pictures? I hate it when places get all weird like that. Ugh.

Is the sweater a Catalina sweater? Because it looks similar to the Catalina sweater of mine: http://maryvannote.com/blog/2011/12/22/3-outfits-til-christmas/
