Last week my cousin Ruth and I went on a haunted walking tour in town.
We made sure to really bundle up, but by the end of it we were smothering.
It's not that cold out I guess....
She borrowed some stuff from my closet, but honestly I haven't worn that jacket since. She just looks way cuter in it.
I wore my silk/wool stockings, a must have if you live in a cold climate and want to still dress in vintage. Check for wool stockings on etsy or ebay, they're well worth the search.
Awwww, you both look so wonderfully pretty, autumnal and cozy. I adore both pairs of boots, especially the blue ones. Classic lace up boots are a perpetual favourite of mine, too.
I love your blue boots! I've been after a pair similar to your brown ones too, but have yet to find a pair that's quite right. Thanks for the tip with the stockings - that's something I might look into myself as it's dropped pretty cold recently where I live as well.
This is the ultimate! I can actually create a similar outfit from my wardrobe, too. I've been trying to find a way to wear my cap. Great ideas Solanah.
You both look stunning! Love the clothes and those boots are to die for! So glad I've found your blog :)
I've just started my own blog, with a halloween post featuring an 18th century hand sewn provencal cape and a ballgown made by my granny who was a couturier in the 30s. Do have a look if you get the time and let me know what you think: http://kikiandthegypsy.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/into-woods-halloween-2012.html
