Doris Designs sent me another of their lush petticoats, after enjoying the gray one so much. I got the 21"length in navy this time, isn't it such a beautiful hue? I love the depth the ruffles create with such a darker color.
This outfit is stunning. The palette is bold, feminine, and wildly beautiful. Every fiber of my crinoline loving being is smitten with your new navy pettiskirt. Seriously amazing ensemble, dear gal.
Your petticoats are always the best. The way the colors match in that skirt is so great. Estate sales always seem like such fun! Maybe one day I will go to one! +Victoria+
Oh my gosh, I love your blog spot. This post is so lovely, I adore your skirt! Those boots are perfect for it! You have great style, love the beautiful blue colors.

That petticoat is so stunning and the quality looks top notch!
I've kind of stopped wearing petticoats with my swing dresses lately because I tend to get a lot of harassment for it when I go out wearing them, too many people asking "are you going somewhere special?" Though I'm sure you are only too familiar with that question :P
OFF TOPIC I remember watching a TV show in the late 1990s where one of the actresses was a vintage enthused. The TV show was called The Promised Land and the teenage girl on the show was call Margot Notewirty. Who is a Dorothy Parker fan. Some one uploaded a few of the shows on youtube here is the link http://m.youtube.com/results?gl=US&client=mv-google&hl=en&q=promise+land+season+3&submit=Search if the link does not work for you. The season Margot is on is season 3 of Promise Land.
i lend the last piocture of this post, to use it in a little post about vintage shoes. i hope you don't mind. everything is linked back to your blog. thank you.

Wow, love the blue of that petticoat! This is such a lovely fall outfit. The jacket and boots are a bit evocative of the Victorian age.
I really like the first photo you've taken. You look so effotrlessly chic and the deep blue is striking against the white walls. Great post :) x
Love the petticoat. The blue looks fabulous with the brown of your skirt and boots.

Lovely and sweet :)
I adore that blue jacket, it matches perfectly with the petticoat. The petticoat looks so lush and soft and swooshy, too...
Ooh I love it. So rich and deep, really pops when you see it poking out of the light skirt.
The color is so rich and is lovely hue of blue.
I adore this look! So, so pretty!
Ooooh, so pretty! I have requested a Doris petticoat for my birthday, after seeing your previous posts on them.
I also like your lace-up boots - I admire them every time they appear in an outfit post!

The is the most perfect shade of navy I've ever seen! And I love how how balanced the ruffles with rustic boots. Well done!
