Just add pie

 photo Chuck1_zpsca6c0805.jpg

Yeah I should have made a pie. Partially because this is my "Chuck dress", very similar to the red shirtdress she wore in the episode of Pushing Dasies with the horses, and the matching bedroom, and the brother from New Adventures of Old Christine...and partially because strawberry pie sounds like the best thing in the world at the moment.

You look so lovely here!! I adore your vintage '40s looks, obviously, but this more classic thing you have going lately is really gorgeous.

(Pretty sure I die of envy every time I see those boots, too ;)

Your red dress is fantastic! It definitely reminds me of something Chuck would wear. This makes me want to break out my Pushing Daisies DVDs right now!

I just finished watching Pushing Daises for the billionth time and besides my love for the show, I would so love to have Chucks wardrobe. Your dress is lovely and I have been searching for a hot pink shirtwaist dress since first watching that episode many moons ago. Since I can't find the dress the pie will have to do. Mmm strawberry sounds delicious. :)

Absolutely lovely outfit! Red and warm brown are so, so immensely lovely together. I tend to think of this colour combo during autumn, but really, it suits spring extremely well (redolent as is of gardens bursting with branches of vibrant blossoms once more).

Love the button detail on this dress. I used to love Pushing Daisies, the outfits for all the characters were amazing.

haha you call it your "Chuck dress" and it seriously makes sense that Chuck in that show would wear this. I wish they continued on with it. :( It was so good. You look beautiful.

I am still, to this day, so pissed that Pushing Daisies stopped. How do you cancel a show that is pure perfection? The pies always looked soo good, especially the pear one with the gruyere cheese baked into the crust.

Ah, you and me both have such a lady crush on Chuck! What a girl. And the dresses! And the pie! Sigh.

Pushing Daisies was one of my all time bestest shows :) Feel the need to watch it again now. With a massive slab of pie :)

Gorgeous dress! I'm on the lookout for one like it, and am starting to think I might end up making one instead. The particular occasion I want it for is a few months off yet, so it's not entirely impossible that it will happen!
