Day off outfit

I LOVE this style of jacket. I keep coming across them, and passing them by because they're not form fitting, but yesterday I found this one at work and couldn't resist any longer, I had to have it.
It's not a Pendleton 49er, but in that style, I really like the plaid, and the various greens. In the future I'll pair it with a pencil skirt and belt it, maybe add a big ol' rhinestone brooch! But for hanging around the house, and waking to Twila Jeans, some high waist capris and white socks do just the trick ;)

Green plaid is the best plaid- you were smart to snap it up!

I agree with Marie! Green plaid is most definitely the best plaid. And those mother of pearl buttons are such wonderful details! I love huge buttons on jackets and coats. And you look pretty darn pretty on your "lazy" days!

I love the green plaid, and it does look great on you. The only Pendleton 49er jacket I own was actually found at Stars in Portland! It remains a true favorite.

It's starting to get cooler here in Melbourne, and I'm finding myself more and more attracted to this style of jacket. I would never expect it to look so good, but I see many bloggers rocking the look and now I want one for my own! Keeping my eyes peeled next time I go opshopping, that is for sure!

That is a great jacket. And I love cropped jeans and your little cuffs. And it is great how a pair of your thin white anklets go so well with both these green sneakers and your dressy heels. So pretty! I just wish your pictures had some better resolution so that I could enjoy the details even more.

Super cute! It reminds me of something that women in the 50s-60s wore when they went camping... and of course I mean that in an adorable way.

Cheers!

Like the green, and like your sneakers! And, yes, there are plenty of vintage Pendleton plaid shirts and jackets to be found here in Portland, OR USA. :)

That's probably the best 49er jacket I've seen! Such a vibrant green! Love it!

very very cute! 40s laid-back prettiness. You hair looks great for it being your day off. Where are the jeans from?

I have a small collection of these (most Pendletons, some Woolriches...) and I love them so! Aren't they fantastic? I don't have a green one, however, and am definitely jealous!
