King Tut

Photobucket

Last weekend I joined The Pink House family for a trip up to Seattle for the King Tut Exhibit. Naturally I dressed like a 1920s archaeologist.

Naturally.

Two of my cousins took on the rolls of Cleopatra and Nefertiti, dramatic makeup and all. We had fun, and got to see some amazing treasures. I was glad they allowed photographs, so many exhibitions don't, and it's such a disappointment not to share them with you! But there I got some jewelry snaps ;)

Oh I'm so glad you were able to share(I agree,I hate when museums won't let you late photos)!I get in trouble more often than I like to admit cause I always find out the hard way places don't want pictures taken. If its posted I follow the rules but places that don't say anything I'm always shocked to find out its not allowed.Your outfit is so fun.

I'm glad my friend and aren't the only ones who have a little too much fun dressing for casual adventures. That hat is downright charming.

Love the cloche and lace-up detailing of the pants. Very reminiscent of Osa Johnson.

Those pants!!! *faints in a pile of squee*
I'm glad you were able to take pictures, it feels like I've been on a mini exhibition, which is delightful during exam time! :P Some of the artifacts are just incredible.

I love that you dress to the theme of an event - I always do the same thing and people are like, why are you wearing a house print dress to an open house? Why not?

Your outfit is almost neater than the exhibit!

Oh your outfit is lovely! I hope the King Tut Exhibit comes to San Diego, that would seriously make my day. (Well, we still have the Titanic one, so that'll suffice until then)

very neat, you remind me of a 1940s book character, maybe an explorer.

Great job taking photos in the exhibit. The few times I've tried taking photos in a museum they've been a complete mess, but yours look like they could be part of the exhibit catalog!

Also, your outfit is absolutely adorable as usual.
