Happy October!

Last night I rotated my closet yet again thanks to the cool weather that hit overnight. It's so nice to finally wear layers. In the collection of fall/winter clothes I found this great Evan Picone skirt. I must have bought it at the end of the season and packed it away, because I had no idea I had it. It's like shopping! But free :)
Now my closet has that great autumn feel, with wool skirts, beaded cashmere sweaters, 40s suits, and knit dresses. Mmmmm, how cozy.
Today was just a grocery day, the past few weeks I've just worn jeans and a blouse (yes, sometimes I wear jeans), but putting thought in my ensemble just made me feel better. Plus this jacket is adorable. It's lined with bunny fabric!

And here are some bananas, just because.

Blouse and jacket: Buffalo Exchange, originally from Anthropologie.

Skirt: The Urban Eccentric.

Shoes and beret: Thrifted

Bag: Michael Kors.

How great to be able to wear fallclothes! I just love wool and knitted things =) Speaking of which, that skirt is adorable! What a nice surprise for you! =) I tend to find fabrics that way in my linencloset... It always feels a bit like a gift lol
Have a lovely weekend!

That jacket's shade of blue has me obsessed! It's the most luxurious and flattering color ever. I love how red looks on us fair-skinned ladies, but it can be too... obvious? But that blue is just perfect. :)

P.S. I stumbled onto your blog a few weeks ago and I'm hooked! I'm currently going through the archives, ooooh-ing and aahhh-ing at all the great pictures and stories. Thank you for providing me with such fashion inspiration!

YOU are never gonna forgive what happened to me today though :(
I was wearing my red suit, and Aunt Flow decided to visit a week early..
Its at the dry cleaner as we speak, I hope its salvageable. or I will cry.

Today I hear the word "recessionista" for the first time, and it made my skin crawl. It's possibly the only thing in the world worse than "frugalista". I appreciate you taking a stand against this horrible invention.

I love the jacket and shirt layering! This time of year is the only time I feel compelled to play with volume in a similar way.

I love the jacket... and i cannot imagine you in jeans! It's funny to think of bloggers looking any different from how they do on their blogs! hehe. I wish i was organised enough to rotate my wardrobe. It kind of all stays out in a cluttered mess all year round! I am so excited about cold weather! x

Cute, cute cute! I just pulled out my sweaters and am also glad there is finally a nip in the air. Unfortunately I do not have many sweaters left. Most of them were stored in the back room and my nephew spilled a bottle of bleach somehow in the bin with my sweaters.

Buffalo Exchange?! As in Tucson?! Because I love those stores with a passion. They always have the best stuff. Cute!

I also need to rediscover my fall and winter line. I'm partial to plaid wool skirts with boots.

Oh wow, I don't know if I've ever seen somebody pull off the vintage look as well as you do. And I like the added photos of bananas.
