Easter Sunday
This afternoon family and friends met up at my aunt and uncles house for a non traditional Easter meal. They made middle eastern dishes: falafels, pita bread, lamb, tabouli, all from scratch! And my cupcake master cousin made cute easter cupcakes. Since it rained most of the time we did the easter egg hunt inside for the kiddies, which was more like a easter egg rampage than anything.
And for those who follow me on Facebook, here's the Schiaparelli hat talked about! My aunt so generously passed it onto me for my birthday, hatbox, original hangtag and all! It is of course very pretty, with little silk blossoms on a bed of silk chiffon.
Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Middle Eastern cuisine is one of my favorites! Especially falafel sandwiches (in pita bread) with hommus and veggies. Glad to hear you had a nice afternoon :) Your outfit is darling.

Gorgeous outfit! Those flowers on your hat look like you plucked them right from the tree! I love the middle eastern Easter food idea! Maybe I could persuade my mom to do something like that! *yum*
