Ikea
It's been pretty hot here this week, at least for us NorthWesterners. So since a lot of people here don't have AC, they flock to movie theaters, target, or the beach.
Sam and I just hang out at Ikea.
Mostly because it's not hot, there are couches, we get decorating ideas but are not tempted to buy anything, and there's endless hilarious people watching.
Oh, and there are numerous sets for cheesy picture taking.
Aaaaanndd, I have now decided that when I have a house, the walls of my kitchen will be pink, which will be an amazing backdrop for my blue appliances. I need a house!

i love the kitchen pic!!! i want that blue backsplash :)
Very cute pics, and you look so "vintagey", too. :)

That kitchen is too cute! And the phone picture is great. :)
I never really thought about how a lot of homes wouldn't have A/C in the NW. The other day Mr. V and I saw a house for sale here in AZ built in 1991 with NO A/C. We thought...REALLY? I love you putting your lipstick on in the fake bathroom.
is that an ikea ice cream? can't beat the price or the price of their hot dogs but makes you wonder what IS in those hot dogs.
you fabulous as always!!

Ah! Reminds me of the movie 100 Days of Summer :)
1. Gorgeous dress. You look lovely!
2. Do IKEAs everywhere look the same? Haha. Even the carpark looks the same as ours. So weird.

I had just wrote a post to IKEA as well (my very first post), your photos are pretty.
How do you manage to make Ikea look so glamorous? And how are you tempted not to buy anything?! Have you seen 500 Days of Summer? There's a similar scene in Ikea...
I looooooove Ikea. I don't even own a house yet either but me and my friend go in there and get ideas for what we'd buy if we did have one. We love the all the children's room stuff...it's adorable!
I haven't been to Ikea for months, i love their stuffed animals. especially the beavers! so ugly! and cute
Yes Andi they look all the same everywhere around the world :D
we love to go there for the food ;) haha
Your house is quite nice and I really like it and also got some ideas from your pictures for my home as well. I wish that I also can make my home more sweet and more attractive.
Ah, Ikea! My favorite place to go for ideas, cheap food, and crowd watching! lol. I love that you took posed pictures in the store--I've always wanted to do that! haha!
Love your dress too, btw!!!

I could do with having to hide from the heat but it is coat weather already here..
seems like you two got cozy there and made yourselves plenty at home. awesome! I really giggled a little, especially the one of you two at the table doing stuff.

thanks for the link to the turbans! ^_^ Gotta love window shopping on horribly hot days.
You know Buffalo Exchange has AC, too? Went to the one on Hawthorne yesterday and it was sooooo cool. :)

That photo really makes me want that kitchen, but not from Ikea... I've heard some horror stories about Ikea stuff. Anyway, you are adorable, as always, in those pictures. Especially smooching the little kitten, Awww!
Very nice pics. It looks like you had fun!
ah you are too adorable! i love all of these photos. i love ikea too.
Every time I go into Ikea I want to take home that stuffed bulldog. One of these days I hope we will have a real one!
YEY!! GOO SWEDEN!!
For me, going to Ikea is akin to playing dollhouse. ;P
