I didn't feel like getting dressed.
Here is my new favorite dress.
Ok, ok, it's really a robe.
But if you had a robe this pretty, you wouldn't keep it in the house either.
Now, let me point out that yes, I am technically wearing loungewear in public.
But.
I still loath seeing people in pajamas in the grocery store. There is a difference. My robe is awesome. Their pajamas are gross.
Anyway, I found this "dress" in the back room at work the other day and gasped when I saw it. The pattern is sparrows, hearts, keys, harps, clovers, horseshoes, musical notes, letters, and clouds, all against a background of pink, blue, and gray bows.
The ONLY thing that would make it better?
Can you guess?
If you guessed kitties, then either you have been reading my blog for a while, or you just love kitties too :)

I want this. A lot :D
Sorry, I read a lot but post rarely!
Just awesome and if you glanced at my blog you know that I absolutely ♥ the shoes! Thank goodness I am not the only one that thinks going out in your jammies is just ridiculous!
wearing THAT in public totally acceptable, leaving the house in pjs though is unacceptable, agreed on that!
You make a robe look glamorous like no one else can! And I guessed kitties--for both reasons you mentioned! ;)
the fabric has a gorgeous pattern!!
Love the shoes!! bootifullll.

ohh i love that pattern!!!
LOVE your shoes!!
I actually wear slips out in the open to everywhere! Yes, it's "lingerie" but it's great for the hot (more like boiling) season and my slips are pretty!
AMA~zing outfit!! Love the shoes, the gorgeous pattern on the housedress. And yes, it would be a crime to keep that stunning piece locked away in the house... ><
xox,

Kittens! Yay! It's gorgeous enough without them, though...
Such a wonderful topic for me.........

Hehe, I love that you're wearing a robe out! And it's definitely far better than other people's pyjamas!

What a lovely fabric :)
I had a nighty once which the moment I saw it I knew was a dress really and not a nighty at all. Would have been wasted in the bedroom ;)
your 'loungewear' still looks so much better than what other people consider 'daily wear' (ill-fitting jeans and ugly tops) so yay for you!
Oh my, that print is just too adorable!

The print and colour are so beautiful, I love it!! Who cares if it's a robe, it's way too nice to keep shut up in the house, I would never have guessed!

Such an amazing piece!!! I just adore those wispy, vintage prints. I've definitely worn vintage robes as dresses--they're just too pretty to hide away. ;)

You are able to make everything look so perfect and gorgeous. Great outfit!
That is the most adorable robe I have ever seen!
It looks more like a wrap dress than loungewear, what an awesome find. Also, I love the scarf you're wearing in your hair!
Hi gorgeusness! I just wanted to drop by and say that I gave you an "award" on my blog :)
That pattern is stunning and the proportions are perfect, even if it is loungewear. Honestly, don't kitties make everything better? :)
Stunning. It definitely deserves to be seen!
WOW!! it really looks like a dress-and a beautiful one at that! I would wear it out, and often! What is the material? It looks like silk...
You. Are. Amazing.
The end :)
Lainie, it's rayon jersey.
You always look so pretty in pinks. What a great print!!
