Tuesday was our only full day in Portland, so we mostly ate, shopped, and ate some more :) Breakfast at The Morningstar Cafe, (really good bacon!), then went and saw Transformers :) After that we picked up some things at H&M and Forever 21, Sam went to Powells and found some books, and I went to Anthropologie and tried to fit my vintage figure into modern dresses. Didn't even come close, but I did pick up these sunglasses which were just what I was looking for :)
For a very late lunch we had Sushi at Moi Sushi, and then later dinner at Deschutes Brewery, the mac and cheese is amazing, just in case you ever go ;)

Distinctive welsh lion on the boy's forearm...I can tell you all about Owain and the founding of the Llewelleyn line. Hope you guys had fun!!
I'm loving all the food shots, now you have me craving bacon! My vintage figure doesn't work with modern frocks either, I do like the sunglasses you picked up though.
I love when my hubbs and I spend date days in Portland. It's almost time for another!
oh your photobooth photos are so cute!
I absolutely adore your little photo booth pictures. My boyfriend and I attempted to use one but the pictures just aren't the same as the little reels. My wording isn't quite right but oh well haha. Looks like you had a lovely time :)

Such cute photo booth shots- you too are so sweet!
And I love Sams dragon on his arm- it's an awesome tattoo :)
Do you wear vintage because of the sizing issues with modern clothes? I'm just wondering because this is the first I've heard you mention this issue and I've been reading your blog for a while!
awww seems like such a very nice time you had together. how special.
Sounds like a fun day in the city. I have been working on planning a Portland date with me and hubs but we are thinking about doing Violetta and Fox Towers for Tree of Life. Yum! :)
I tried on some dresses at Anthro recently and decided that I can do separates (skirts or tops), but the fit model on most modern dresses just doesn't do it! They either don't nip in at the waist the way I like or are just a bit too off in some way or the other... lol.
Goodness. A weakkness of mine...the closeups of food I see in blogs. Delish.
Looks like you had such a blast! Loving the little photobooth pictures. :)

Mmmmm, American bacon! So much nicer than the flabby, chewy, pale pink stuff we tend to get in the UK!
I love how you two always seem to get those photobooth pictures. Sydney doesn't have any old school booths, but the idea makes me giddy with excitment. So sweet I could eat you with a spoon. xo
You guys look so much in love in your photo booth photos!
Again, I need to go to Portland! That breakfast looked so good.

i love what you said about fitting a vintage body into a modern dress! i've made statements similar to this so many times! i get so frustrated trying to try on clothes that fit my small waist, but wide hips!! beautiful pics...
This is SUCH a beautiful blog and I love your modeling and style. I just started a similar site for my company on blogger. So I was looking for sites that relate to link out to. I'm writing a post about vintage so I'll definitely link to you! :) Very nicely done.

Colleen, that is one of the reasons, yes, I'd like to go more into it, but body type, even just talking about my own can turn into a weight discussion, which I try to avoid. So I'll have to word that post very well ;)
xoxo
Sounds like such a fun day!
