Down by the farm

{Photos by Sam}

It's still cardigan and dress weather, so Sam and I went out and took some pics and enjoyed the fact that we don't need heavy coats to step outside.

However, I'm expecting some yarn in the mail for a new sweater, so I hope it doesn't get too warm ;)

Where are you? It looks so lovely and peaceful.

Thanks everyone! Miss Tallulah, it's a place down by a lake, really pretty since it's mostly privately owned land and wildlife acreage. But also a nice park and walking path, so it's fun to come and explore in the spring and summer :)

Ah we had a week of that kinda weather in England then it's disappeared and turned back into wind and rain! I really like your hat, something about the black trim on the cream is just fantastic.

That's a really lovely 40s dress- I don't often see the daywear ones, mostly the evening gowns. But my favourite part about this post is learning there is a store called the Cats Pyjamas.

I have recently discovered your lovely blog and have been perusing your past posts. You have such a sweet style that manages to be natural and very much your own - very inspiring! You have made me want to purchase bobby socks and pair them with my pencil skirts and here I thought I was too old for them, hurrah!

Ah, cardigan weather. My absolute favourite time of year!
