Distractions...

Sorry I've been a little distracted lately, most of my free time is spent packing! Our house is pretty much boxed up, and it looks like we'll be moving later next week. While I'm um, in California. We'll see how that goes. But I am really looking forward to a little vacation, this photo is from mine and my mothers last trip to California, taken at the Hotel Del Coronado. Oh the endless sun, and light breezes. Actually on the beach it was pretty windy, but nice and warm. Mmmm, to not have to wear a coat.

So until then there probably won't be any outfit posts (I've been wearing this dress over and over, it's so comfy and easy!) although tomorrow I'm attending a wedding, so I'm sure I'll get some pictures there ;)

Thanks for your patience and understanding everyone, hope you have a nice weekend!

xoxo

Isn't that the hotel that the Grand Floridian at Disney is based off? If so, that's AMAZING

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I LOVE this bag, got it on the trip at an antique store, hoping I can take it on this trip too!

Oooh, the Hotel Del Coronado! Always makes me think of "Some like it hot"! (they filmed it there!) Anywho, I'm a Los Angeles gal, sending heads up, it's been rainy down here, so bring your fave vintage coat! Have a blast! Definitely stop by the Pasadena Rose Bowl Flea Market, the best antique shopping out here, it happens once a month, so you may catch it on your trip down! (if you do go, cross over the bridges once you enter to get to the parking lot full of the vintage clothes! it's a daunting task, but super fun!)

Can't wait to see pics from your trip out here!
Happy holiday-ing!

Very cute outfit! I feel for you. We moved four months ago and the stress and manual labor of it all is still fresh in my mind...ha!

That dress is gorgeous! Did you make it? I must know, so I can have one just like it!

Lisette, actually the dress is from the 50s, and from the Hotel Del Coronado! I thought it would be neat to bring it back to where it came from :)

I'd like to chime in on that your purse is amazing conversation. Your purse is amazing. I always look for huge, nice vintage frame bags and I have very few to show for it. I know they exist because I see them in movies made in the 40s-60s ALL THE TIME, but I never find any, not even expensive ones out of my reach.

My comments always seem to be more about me than to whom I'm writing. Sorry about that. :/
