Like I have to tell you that.
It took about five hours to sort, fold, and hang my entire wardrobe. For realsies. Actually there's some at my mothers, and my grandmothers, so MOST of my wardrobe. I dumped everything out on our living room floor, and tried to take pictures, but they came out pretty awful. So you'll just have to take my word for it when I say I was halfway up to my knees in vintage. I'm quite satisfied with the way the closet turned out, now I can wear real outfits again! The next challenge will be where to take outfit pictures in a little apartment. Hmmmmm...
The clothes that are not in my closet are for the other three seasons, packed away under the bed and in a giant antique chest. Next up: Hats!!!

I kind of have a lot of clothes too, but mine aren't half as fun as yours! Whatever the turqoise thing with a cat peeking is in the righthand corner, I love that!
It's nice and tidy now! Clothing and shoe storage is such a hassle, I'm going through the process of tidying up my wardrobe too. I'm from Australia but I haven't seen Peppermint before, it looks like a new mag? I'll have to keep my eyes out for a copy.

oh goodness. That looks like my husband's side of the closet. . I only take up a quarter of it. haha. You do have lots of clothes!!!
Your closet is so cute!! And colourful, love it! Padded satin hangers are the bomb.
I reorganize my closet often, I like making it all pretty. Got my suede heels lined up on the floor. Dresses/cardis/coats on matching wooden hangers...etc. My sisters reckon it looks like "Barbie's closet!" - OCD? Lil bit yeah.
Will try and see that magazine, haven't seen it b4, but I'm in a smaller town.

i really do MISS having a ton of clothes. but over the years i learned it isnt as important as it was before. ALTHOUGH i do miss it... i am starting to geta c ollection of only the best of the bests that i can wear daily. i have this thing where i will love the top i get that id want to wear it everyday although i dont lol... but i would if i had a few of the same top :) anyhoo i love your style it is amazing. keep up the good ol' vintage finding for the world.
Clothes are so exhausting, aren't they? I just thinned out my closet a few weeks ago and it was so liberating! I also live in a tiny apartment so I take many pictures on our patio outside or in my living room near my patio door so I can get natural light. Good luck, have fun in your new home!!

holy moley! You've got more clothes for spring than I do in my entire wrdrobe. Mine doesn't even fill half of my tiny 50's closet. And I don't think I have anything but vintage cardigans in my collection anymore. I've got sellers guilt too bad to keep anything for myself...its pathetic really. I am soooo jealous right now hehehehe.

Your wardrobe looks amazing! I clear out my wardrobe every now and then, because I don´t like to keep pieces that I don´t wear anymore. But I hardly EVER through/give away shoes ! ;)

Thanks for letting us see part of your collection! It has made me feel soo much better about my closet (I finally see I am not alone!). I realised I hadn't worn some of my summer dresses this season, and was starting to feel a little guilty about it, but hey, there is always next summer. Great blog!
