Pretending it's spring

The other day it was so bright and sunny out, heavy wools seemed unnecessary. It was, of course, still cold, but hey, it was like a little winter break. Or spring break?

*wooo!*

Aaaand, it was finally dry enough to wear my new shoes, aren't they lovely? I feel so dainty in them ;)

oooh so jealous of those shoes! I want to order a pair sooooo badly but I could never justify the price-tag. boo to that. You look adorable...like always. Must be nice to have some sun...we've got snow again (YAY!) it had all melted away and made me quite sad.

Hi! I;m a bit new to the blogosphere; glad that I stumbled on your blog!
I am LOVING that hat; is it a fascinator? Usually I find that they fit strangely over the head, but that one looks like the perfect shape!
Also I have been collecting a certain sort of vintage headwear - these little netted bonnets, but can't find information on them, and I wonder if you have seen them or know what they are called?
I did a post about them here: http://honeyhivintage.blogspot.com/2010/12/obsession-net-bonnets.html
Even the vintage shop owners I bought them from didn't seem to know anything :(
Thanks fellow vintage lady!

You always look sweet, but look at those show stopper shoes :) Aren't they amazing! I have never liked navy-colour, but I just bought navy blue suede shoes on my trip to England.

I know you get a million comments and questions, but I was going to purchase the same shoes in green but the reviews said they are hard to walk in, almost like you are walking on your toes. I'm just wondering if youfound them to be comfortable or a pecial occsion only type of shoe? Thanks and as always your blog is lovely. :D

Solanah said...

Olygirl, they are high, but I wore them all day at work, and they were great, however, I do wear heels quite often, so if your used to the hight, it's fine, if you're not, it's just like any other heel and takes some getting used to ;)

Thank you for the insight! It's nice to know they are walkable. I can do high for a day or two, but love my oxfords and chucks on the days in between! I'm definitely getting them. I'm loving your navy ones, if only I could buy 2 pairs. :D

Happy Holidays!
