The other day it was so bright and sunny out, heavy wools seemed unnecessary. It was, of course, still cold, but hey, it was like a little winter break. Or spring break?
*wooo!*
Aaaand, it was finally dry enough to wear my new shoes, aren't they lovely? I feel so dainty in them ;)

I think that they may just be the nicest shoes I have ever clapped eyes on!!!! You (as usual!) look a treat!
oooh so jealous of those shoes! I want to order a pair sooooo badly but I could never justify the price-tag. boo to that. You look adorable...like always. Must be nice to have some sun...we've got snow again (YAY!) it had all melted away and made me quite sad.
You are so pretty. So, so SO pretty!!
I pretended it was spring in my last blog post too, don't springtime outfits look so pretty in winter scenery? I love your hat and shoes, they are amazing! You look lovely.

Everything about this outfit is completely lovely!
and the HAT. THE HAT!
LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Three things make this blog one of the very best, Solanah: the expert photography, the smart and elegant fashions, and your astonishing beauty.
nice shoes!
Wonderful hat! its like a flower.
Hi! I;m a bit new to the blogosphere; glad that I stumbled on your blog!
I am LOVING that hat; is it a fascinator? Usually I find that they fit strangely over the head, but that one looks like the perfect shape!
Also I have been collecting a certain sort of vintage headwear - these little netted bonnets, but can't find information on them, and I wonder if you have seen them or know what they are called?
I did a post about them here: http://honeyhivintage.blogspot.com/2010/12/obsession-net-bonnets.html
Even the vintage shop owners I bought them from didn't seem to know anything :(
Thanks fellow vintage lady!
Wow, beautiful color!
great shoes!
You look gorgeous! That hat is so beautiful :)

You always look sweet, but look at those show stopper shoes :) Aren't they amazing! I have never liked navy-colour, but I just bought navy blue suede shoes on my trip to England.
LOVE the shoes! You always look so pretty!
The shoes are heavenly!! Love them!!!
Love the outfit and the shoes are great!
*gasp* you look lovely!! I loove everything!!
Seriously, those shoes are on ModCloth? I'm heading there right now! They're fabulous. And they do make you look dainty. Love the whole look.

I know you get a million comments and questions, but I was going to purchase the same shoes in green but the reviews said they are hard to walk in, almost like you are walking on your toes. I'm just wondering if youfound them to be comfortable or a pecial occsion only type of shoe? Thanks and as always your blog is lovely. :D
Olygirl, they are high, but I wore them all day at work, and they were great, however, I do wear heels quite often, so if your used to the hight, it's fine, if you're not, it's just like any other heel and takes some getting used to ;)
Those shoes!! I love them. :-)
I saw those shoes on Modcloth and put them on my Christmas list, let's see if Santa pays attention-lol! I love them!

Thank you for the insight! It's nice to know they are walkable. I can do high for a day or two, but love my oxfords and chucks on the days in between! I'm definitely getting them. I'm loving your navy ones, if only I could buy 2 pairs. :D
Happy Holidays!
Those shoes!!! oh my goshhh!!!!!!
In love.
The shoes. the shoes ! My kingdom for those shoes !!
this outfit is fabulous.
I just happened to stumble upon your blog and it made me so happy to see that there are people out there that love vintage looks as much as I do. Those shoes are amazing!!
What a beautiful dress! The brooch too! And the shoes! The head-to-toe navy is lovely.
Oh gosh, You look stunning! The hat is truly delicate and the shoes are so sweet! You really manage to make an outfit with just one colour look spectacular!
