I wore jeans and my favorite Jitterbuggin blouse, and got called "Rosie" more than once a dozen times. I don't mind that so much, just about everyone's mother or Grandmother worked in the shipyards in this area, so it's cool :)
Most outdoor events like this are coming to a close as fall approaches, but luckily it doesn't stop there!

Just beautiful! Going to check out that list of events right now too. What mind boggles me is that why NY doesnt have any vintage events or activities like this...I wonder why some areas so it more than others...humm?? xox
Thoroughly beautiful photographs - the hues are spot on perfect to help drive home a sense of the eras they depict.

These photos are absolutely beautiful. These events are all so ingenious, America has really got it happening for re-enactment events. *Sigh*

Hola!!
I am a very big fan of your blog, I love your style and often I get inspired by it. I am always looking for similar outfits when I am at the flea market and thrifstores but in most cases I don't know if the prices are right, may I suggest that you post the prices of your finds? that way you will educate not only me but some of your followers about the value of vintage clothing.
There have been many times I passed a piece of vintage clothing because I thought the price was way to high or in many cases "ridiculous" or other times when I paid a high price and came home just to find out I was "robbed" by the vendor.
Anyways I absolutely love your style. =)
My husband and I are moving to Vancouver in a month and I'm so excited to go to this next year! It looks incredible!
