Today I made a raspberry pie with friends, using berries from a local farm, and pie crust my cousins and I made at The Pink House. But before pie time, we stopped at Burgerville for some yummy seasonal Walla Walla onion rings.
Oh wow, the raspberry pie looks so fantastic. I shall have to coax my sister to make one for me. {She is the pie maker in our family and yes, she was inspired by Pushing Daisies. It's the show that just keeps giving back!}
Love your dress and apron ~ you've got a fantastic vintage housewife look. {I hope you don't mind me using that term? As I am a proud housewife myself I mean it as a compliment. :D }
I have the sudden urge to make a pie now! My father used to make bosenberry pies from a vine my great grandmother bought from the original owner of Knott's Berry Farm in CA...I wish I still had that berry bush.

A friend of mine has a spanking boutique that has couple of dresses for sale that would suit you well, guess why?: http://www.nitro-babe.com/curiosity-kittens-diner-dress-p-99975036.html and http://www.nitro-babe.com/lazy-catz-summer-dress-p-99975035.html The website is in finnish though :) ps. dangit, I miss Burgerville so much! Thanks for the reminder :p My bestie came to visit a couple months ago and brought me some special sauce so I can pretend, but it's just not the same! What a beautiful pie you made!

I've had raspberry tarts swirling in my brain for a while since I picked several buckets full in my backyard. Brill idea to do a pie!

Yes, I think you DO need to post that receipe! Too much Pushing Daisies, and now pie is the #1 food on my mind. And it is YOUR fault! xo
Wow! Can you share your recipe? The pie looks so amazing. There is nothing like NW berries (or Walla Walla sweet onions)
I'm dying over everything in this post. Your dress and apron, the raspberry pie (my fave fruit is raspberries) and the onion rings!!! Lucky you.

Oh yes, onion ring love. Your pie looks like it came right of Ned's kitchen---delicious!
You're always so photogenic and the pie...incredible looking! It makes me want to ditch work today and bake!
Both look so yummy! Now I have a craving for some onion rings, but it's only 9:00am here......
