Pushing Daisies is a show about a pie maker (hot guy who makes pies. Yes please.) who has the ability to bring the dead back to life with the touch of his finger-but only for one minute, if he lets them live then someone else will die in their place. He works with a tough talking private investigator to solve mysteries, and one day he brings his childhood sweetheart to life and can't bring himself to let her go again.

This show is the cutest show you will ever watch, there's a huge vintage influence, and you will walk away wanting to put on a pretty dress, bake a pie, and decorate your house in giant cherry light fixtures and bright floral wallpaper.

Unfortunately the show only lasted two seasons, despite amazing reviews, and numerous awards. But, it is now on Netflix instant watch, so you can watch both seasons, and then perhaps die of cuteness.

So, in a nutshell, cute boy, pies, pretty dresses, and mystery solving. Go watch.

Such an incredible show. And Chuck's outfits are just sheer perfection!!

I also could go for having a Ned of my own.

This was one of the few shows I kept up with while it was airing! I just added it to my Netflix last week--I can't get enough of the candy colored goodness!! :D

One of the cutest shows ever! Why do the good ones always get cancelled...? Chuck's entire wardrobe was swoon-worthy and the sets were amazing too. Sad :(

Can't say I really ever liked the show, but my mother and sister really did. They always told me all about the clothes that Chuck wore, and about how tormenting the love between the two main characters was.

Those pictures in the posts were lovely, thanks for the share. I especially like that red dress. Very sweet.

I LOVED that show - especially loved the big dandelion hats. They were mesmerizing.

I worked with Bob Blackman the Costume Designer for the show and he is a lovely, lovely person!

I like quirky shows like this. I was a fan of Dead Like Me, back when it was on.

I'm a little bit concerned about this one if it actually makes me want to "put on a pretty dress...", though.

That could be a tough one to explain to the Mrs. :)

I didn't know what this show was about. I don't have T.V. channels so I am out of the loop with shows. However I am a movie addict and have Netflix on my wii so I watch a lot of instant play stuff on it. I am going to have to see an episode. Thanks.

Thanks for showing the world the awesomeness that is Pushing Daisies! I was soooo upset that it was canned after two seasons.... *sad face*

Both my DH and I loved watching this show; it was a really great one for guys and girls. It's such a shame they won't bring it back...

Just like they canned Firefly. All the good ones go and we get stuck with the ultimate stupidity. {I won't say which shows I think qualifies for that ~ I might get my head bitten off. >< }

Love, love, LOVE this show. My heartbreak over it's short run has been somewhat assuaged by the promised Pushing Daisies comic and frequent trips to the library for the Dvd's.

This was one of my fave shows ever - it never made it to TV here in Oz but I got the DVDs. You know the creator is going to continue the series in comic book form... eventually.
