Photos by Ruth

This afternoon I went with my brother and nephew, and the Pink House family to The Clark County Fair. First we visited the animals and crafts portion, and later the carnival portion, those photos will be another post tomorrow.
My favorite part as you can probably see were the bunnies, they are so fluffy! Among them angora rabbits, which I love, they are so fluffy you can only see a bit of ear and their tiny pink nose. And an amazing bunny with mutton chops, Sam named Buttonchops (bunny/muttonchops).
There were cows, llamas, a giant pig (it's snout was as big as my head), and some really beautiful birds. I had no idea pigeons could look so exotic!
And even though I run screaming at the sight of a little bee, we visited the bee booth where there was the "American Honey Queen" (so
Pushing Daisies), and Ruth and I did the bee wiggle dance.

I love your dress!! And your comment about Pushing Daisies, which in my opinion is one of the best shows on earth, and should not have been cancelled.

There's something that always makes me a little sad about caged animals... but they are cute caged animals. Anyway - your dress is so pretty and perfect with that straw hat - glad to see you had lots of fun.

How fun! I haven't been to a county fair since I was a kid--it was always loads of fun. And look at those adorable angora bunnies! I've recently been knitting with some angora yarn, and it's so, so soft...

Love your outfit!!! :)

There are country state fairs like this in my state that I have been to, in which this reminds me of. I don't know if is going on right now but it was so much fun. Maybe soon again because your pictures sparked the memories in my mind. All the little animals are always so cute!! I do indeed adore your boots by the way!
