Lodekka

Saturday Sam, fellow blogger friend Dana and I went to Portland for a little bacon tasting at New Seasons. It wasn't quite the bacon tasting we had hoped for, but on our way home we stopped by Lodekka, the cute little double decker vintage bus. It's something you must visit if you're ever in Portland, if not for the shopping, at least for the novelty of it! We both found something, I took home this amazing 40s red straw hat with cherries cascading down the side, I swear Dita has one very similar. The sun came out for a couple minutes when we were taking pictures, wasn't that nice of it?

I was there on Friday! There is so much I love about Lodekka, mostly that it's next to Pix Patisserie :)

What a neat idea for a store?! I can't imagine it is the most comfortable venue - but very sweet looking!

Oh wow what a wonderfully novel way to run a store!! I can imagine the owners doing very well out of punters curious about their bus shop. I love your beautiful hat, can't wait to seeing some cherry hat styling:).

It actually looks like a bunch of radishes to me... but I think that's much better than cherries! :)

I love the fact that you have the guts to wear hats like that which shouts "I am here, sweetie!" I love hats but never able to carry one so bright and bold all day long. Just lovely!

That's such an amazing idea having a vintage shop on a bus. The only double decker busses near me either smell of fried chicken or are full of torists :(

That is beyond charming! A double decker vintage shop, how brilliant. You girls seemed to be having a nice time out and about, too. I'm jealous now!

That hat is such a great find! (I agree: I think Dita does have something almost exactly like it!) I have been drooling over the pictures of Lodekka ever since I saw it popping up 'round the blog world... It looks like such a neat shop!
