Black and white

I've been in a neutral mood lately (colorwise), wearing lots of black, white, and brown. Also red, because for some reason to me red is a neutral ;)

This weekend consisted of cleaning house, Twin Peaks, hanging out with Twila Jean, knitting a sock (or trying to anyway), and putting away wooly winter coats. How was your weekend lovelies?

Those tights are great!
I've been really into grey lately. I like the idea of multiple shades of grey worn together with one bright burst of color.

Gorgeous outfit! That skirt is fantastic.

My weekend was quite nice. I got to spend it with my boyfriend and we finally decided that after three months we in an honest-to-goodness relationship. :-)

What a great application of black and white. Your little white cami peeking through your black sweater is so nicely reinforced with your white anklets. And I love the look of thin white anklets over dark tights. Did you add the seam on your tights?

Amy-Mills, no they came that way! But I was dumb and only bought one pair of black and one of brown, even though they were on sale for $4. Should have bought them all :)

Love the way you put together this outfit.

Those tights are way to cute and that vintage skirt is to die for.

Lovely look one of my favorites by far.

I have a soft spot for black and white outfits; I pretty much wore nothing but (with a few dollops of red for good measure) for an entire semester. ;) I think doing a neutral outfit forces one to think more about line and textures, which is always a fun exercise!

I love this outfit from head to toe--especially that skirt. The front pleats/arrowheads are amazing!
