After a morning of successful vintage hunting in Portland Twila Jean and I stopped by Hippo Hardware, a big old building filled with vintage and antique fixtures and appliances. The light fixture room is floor to ceiling vintage light fixtures, and as soon as you say "Oooh! I want that one!" you see another you want too. And then another and another...

I'd like to visit a store like that!
Those are just lovely!
Obviously you're into vintage fashion, but is that your decorating theme as well?
what a dream! I have actually been looking for some new light fixtures for around my apartment, but the only spot I've found is thisr eally expensive antique store! :(
or flea markets that require hours of searching and have not yet yielded any results for me!
I need to visit that place next time I'm in Portland!

the lighting part of home depot was always my favorite part of the store. when i was little, it reminded me of one of the final scenes in "return to oz" when the emerald city is all lit up and glittery.
i need a new lamp in my apartment. now i'm inspired to go hunting again!
how fun!
Revolving Styles, that is actually Twila Jean, she thrifted them.
Feathergirl, I have mostly vintage furniture and decor, 20s-60s.
