I make old things look older.

I fell in love with this dress from Fab Gabs the instant I saw it. It has a perfect little yellow and black plaid, with those fantastic details like pin tucks on the cuffs, and geometric panels on the shoulders. So very 1930s, yet when I put it on and started styling it, it went in a very victorian direction! Sam said I looked like Laura Ingalls Wilder :)

Maybe a little Laura, I think your hair is too lovely and unpigtailed though.

You're always a picture of perfection. I envy your sense of style. Who's that ridiculously handsome man at your feet?

Oooooh I love this dress so much. Unfortunately for me, it's winter here so I can't really wear any dresses. Your kitty is also cute haha :)

Darling!! I love it with the hat and your cute boots. And that cat is such a sweet little thing. I have two kitties and home and love them to bits.

I think you look more Little Women than Little House (it's the hat - I always associate Little House more with bonnets rather than leghorn.) Either way, it's a lovely outfit!

Cute dress, I love the print. I was a big Laura Ingalls Wilder fan as a wee kid, so I think it's a good look!

what a gorgeous dress. I love how you styled it too. I can see a little of Little House on the Prairie! I read all the books and it does look like something I'd see the girls wearing.

I just love that dress, but above all of course these little boots. Oh, and your hair, it looks so pretty worn sleek.

I love it! Little House or 1930s, you always do a great job of mixing eras gracefully. I adore that hat!
