Gingham Party

Photobucket

This weekend I attended a gingham garden party hosted by Rhiannon of Garb Oh Vintage. All ladies wore our favorite gingham frocks, and chatted and ate and drank, and all that good stuff. Among attendees were Janey of Atomic Redhead, Christine of Living Threads, and Jennifer of Jumblelaya

How lucky am I to have such amazing friends?

I wish all afternoons could be spent the same way.

I love that last photo, it's so perfect and neat. Although the food photo runs a close second, I mean I see bread and cheese and cake: are there better things in life? Well yes, your post has proved there is, there's gingham and gorgeous girls x

Beautiful. I own either the pattern your dress was made from or a pattern based off of it... I've been dying to make it up, but couldn't decide on a fabric, and I think I'll have to go with gingham, at least for the first go-round! Isn't it lovely with all the buttons?

How fun! All that gingham--it's making me drool. ;) I was just wearing my favorite gingham dress the other day and thinking I really need more of it in my life!

Gingham with pleats, in waves, with buttons and pockets and kittens and hats and cake. Wow, and that bag!

So enchantingly pretty! This party - much like gingham itself - personifies the carefree, gorgeous spirit of summer through and through.

Love this theme idea. Not sure any of my friends know what gingham is though, so I don't think I can duplicate it.

How darling. I made a gingham dress in one of my garment classes last year, I wish I had something this fun to wear it to!
