Oregon coast

 photo JulyAstoria074_zps8d34e96d.jpg

This week Sam and I visited the coast, specifically the Battery Russell and Peter Iredale shipwreck. It was so nice to get away from the heat and see the ocean.

Although I'm loving the mini heatwave we're having in the UK at the mo - I love going to the seaside in the autumn/winter - layering up to the hilt and walking for miles.

Love that cardigan and boot combo - very chic (and cosy looking too!)

Love your look!

I'm so jealous. It's too hot where I am right now and I would give almost anything to wrap in a big cosey sweater and jeans like this, go for a walk with some proper boots on and feel cold air on my skin!

This place looks cool. I do love a good historical road trip, especially when it's not hot outside.

I love love that sweater...any idea where your sister-in-law got it?

Also, I know you cut your hair recently, how long is it? I really like the updo you have here, and I want to try it but I'm growing my hair out and I'm worried it might still be too short!

Beautiful pictures, as usual :)

Wow, what a location. Adore your cowichan, too!

Melissa, I actually gave it to her :)

My hair is just above my shoulders at the moment. I have loads of pins in it.

Lovely! I love overcast beach weather -- makes me miss living in CA.

A shipwreck! That is exciting! I'd love to check one out. I suppose it is the "pirate in me". Your outfit is so cute and looks so great for colder beach weather!!! Great choice.
