Kitty skirt

I've had this skirt for ages, but never wore it because the circle style was not the most flattering style on me. But last night I was sick of not wearing it, so I turned it into a broomstick skirt. Much better :)

They make me think of the cats from Lady and the Tramp "we are Siamese if you please..."

Oh my gosh! A Si and Am lady and the tramp skirt! I have my eyes on one with the title characters but it is soooo expensive :( You're lucky to have found such a special print!

yes, do tell, what is the difference between a broomstick and a circle skirt?

Gorgeous. You shouldn't look so good in hats - your blog has driven me into a frenzy of vintage hat buying! By the way, I would also like to know what a broomstick skirt is. I also find circle and very gathered skirts unflattering on my figure, prob b/c I have generous hips. Ta, Maria

J'adore! Wow, just wow. I love the petticoats just casually draped from the ceiling... For those wondering, a broomstick skirt is a skirt that has been wetted then twisted around a broomstick and left to dry. This reduces some of the fullness in the fabric and generally leaves crinkles. Once again, j'adore ca.

You're as pretty as a peach!

BTW, I thought that I'd add this: I went to the store after reading your blog & checking out some reviews and bought a tub of Pond's Cold Cream and Cetaphil. My skin has literally instantly cleared! It's amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Hello! Long time reader, first time poster here.

After all, this skirt is so freaking fabulous, how could I NOT post? Then again, that's basically how I feel about most of your outfits. Especially since you seem to share my love of cats, haha.

Anyways! Just wanted to say I love your style and your blog! It's very inspiring. I hope to comment more often in the future. :)

Kitty design is also pretty and kids like it very much but youngsters also can wear kitty printed clothes. The skirt you have wore is really nice and it suites well on you.

A broomstick skirt is a gathered skirt which is wrapped around a broomstick and let to dry so it gathers nicely.
