4th of July gathering

Photobucket

Every year family and friends gather at my brothers house to celebrate the 4th of July. Their backyard has a beautiful tulip tree right in the middle, that acts as a perfect giant parasol for everyone. There was of course, lots of food and drink, watergun fights, good company and conversation.

I hope you all had a nice weekend, I had a fantastic one! Summer in the Northwest is great :)

I adore the matching patriotic plaid blouses, everyone is wearing amazing outfits, you have very stylish friends & family! It's also adorable that the kitty got in on the 4th of July spirit too. :)

Great photos! And happy 4th of July a little late! I was in the States a couple of weeks ago, too bad I couldn't stay longer and celebrate with my American friends there. :(

Looks like so much fun. I am loving all the 4th July posts, everyone really makes such an effort to dress up,celebrate and be Patriotic. I wish we had something simular in the UK the only thing that came close was the Royal wedding.
That little darling in the sailor outfit is the cutest thing. :)

I used to live in the Pacific Northwest (Portland, Oregon) so love reading your blog for little glimpses of my old home town. Have lived in England for 11 years now but it's still nice to see a bit of patriotism!

If there is any friendship to be had, it is the two of you girls. It is always so lovely and sweet to see each of your blog entries together or separately.
