Kansas City

Photobucket
We spent a couple days in Kansas City, mostly hanging out with Mav and Nicholes friends...
Photobucket
...and visiting a Lewis and Clark statue.
Photobucket
A stop at the American Girl store was a must...
Photobucket
...and of course the fabulous Re-Runs Vintage...
Photobucket
Where I bought a fantastic sundress, and 40s hat.
Photobucket
Highly recommend if your ever in the area, they're super nice too!
Photobucket
And on our way out we found a covered bridge in Madison County. Pretty cute!

I really love you in orange.

That vintage shop looks fantastic! (All the best ones seem to have brick in therm somewhere.) You're so lucky to be taking such an expansive trip of the US! I can't wait until I get the opportunity to do it myself. <3

Oh, my city! Hope they took you to Donna's Dress Shop, Boomerang, Rock Candy Boutique and Retro Vixen and not just Re-Runs.

Another Carmen Miranda inspired outfit! Love it. The oranges in your hair just make a lovely dress even more perfect. Really such a simple outfit but so, so pretty. Goes to show that it doesn't have to take tons of effort to look absolutely stunning and eye-catching - just a few pretty items put together nicely.
