I think I started this project about seven or eight years ago. Before the days of Pinterest I would cut out images I loved from fashion magazines and paste them into this coffee table book I thrifted.
Every now and then I pull the box of magazine pages and mod podge out and paste a few more clippings into the book. It's like a book of all my favorite editorials from the past 10 years, and a good rainy day project :)
I used to scrapbook a lot-I mean a lot. I stopped after baby 3 came along but next yr he starts school I will get back to it and finish my projects. I always wanted to do one like the one you did-just of my favorite things or perhaps just things that inspire or look beautiful. Thanks for sharing this-cannot wait to get back into crafting! xox D
Pinterest is nice, but its also good to have something tangible and full of memories like this. Its also neat to look back and see what has inspired me throughout the years. Yours is very unique, thanks for sharing :)
I do this! Like you I started it before Pinterest and I love flipping through the pages to see what inspiration might jump out from the pages and hit me!
I love your inspiration book, I want to make one too. Nice to meet you my name is Cristina state of Parana Brazil. I also have a vintage blog. Come and meet me! Kisses, Cris.
I used to do the very same thing. Just a few days ago, Cory convinced me to part with my magazine collection. It was soooo tough, but I'm really working on decluttering and the idea of moving yet again with so many heavy books and magazines paralyzed me. I still have plenty of sketchbooks filled with clippings and a box filled with my favorite ads and photographs that need to be put into a book. Someday I'll get around to it...
Really charming idea - thank you for sharing a peak into this collection of sartorial inspiration that has been a much loved part of your life for so many years with us.
Oh I do the same! I had ripped out so many pages, that I spent a whole summer pasting it together <3 But I love that book and I often turn to it for inspiration when I design and sew clothes

I do the same - and I loved that Keira Knightley editorial too!

Oh! I also do this! I find it also more pratical than keeping dozens of magazines gathering dust.
That is seriously such a cool idea. I love how the text from the book is still peaking out.
This is nice :)

I'm pretty sure I've tried to start projects like this countless times and always forget to keep going! This looks so awesome. :)

A Pinterest book! :) I also have such one, and hope soon to get time to do more about it.
I have an inspirational book as well, but it's more like a journal. I love how you take an already made book and add to it. Genius!
