I've wanted cotton candy pink hair for years, long before Vixen Vintage was created, and even before I met Sam! I toy with the idea every now and again, but never follow through. Then one day I woke up, looked in the mirror, and thought "where's my pink hair?"
Oh right, I never had it.
And that's ridiculous to want something attainable for years but never make the jump. So I made the appointment and spent 8 hours at J. Michael Salon making my dark brown hair platinum, then pastel pink. I made it a bit more vibrant myself using Special Effects in Atomic pink and conditioner, and after setting it for the first time I really can't imagine anything else could be better.
Watching Angelina L.B.'s hair coloring video was so helpful, because I really had no idea what to expect with coloring my hair a pastel shade. I also read hair F.A.Q.'s on Scathingly Brilliant and Mermaidens (and got completely sidetracked by their pretty posts).
I picked up the dress today, it's something I probably wouldn't have taken home if my hair didn't match, and honestly all I want to wear right now is pink, mint, black, and baby blue. I already have some pretty colorful sweaters waiting around for fall!
I've been wearing these Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses since they first arrived at my doorstep, I love how serious the black lacquered front is, but the lining is bright and colorful. It's going to be a long summer, but some trusty sunglasses sure do help!
Soooo gorgeous!! I myself would never be able to pull off pastel hair but man I so am jealous! You look amazing! Never really thought about how hair color might change the color of outfits one picks but I guess I've always had the same hair color! Innnnteresting!
Sensationally cool!!! You are rocking pink locks sublimely. If I was headed in a non-Mother-Nature-created-it kind of direction with my hair colour, a similar shade of pink or, on the darker side of the spectrum, pine/forest green, would be my first choice.
I LOVE your pink hair! I've been toying with the idea of doing pink myself, but I don't know if I want to sit through another six to eight hours of bleaching and dyeing to get it (I had blonde hair briefly, and it took forEVER). I might do dark fuchsia ends instead. xo Kristina www.eccentricowl.com

I wore a pink wig almost the same shade when I did White Christmas a few years ago and loved how it looked on me. Although i can't manage the upkeep on a color like that, I'm seriously considering buying my own pink wig to wear.

You look brilliant, I love it! You may find coconut oil helps to keep it in good condition , I used to love it as a leave in treatment when my hair was pastel.

As if I wasn't envious enough of your locks, you go and do something I have wanted to for years. Although I think I would actually go for purple. Which is odd, because it's a color I own none of.
Pink definitely suits you. I am going to be obsessing about this. Now that you have lived with it for a month, how is the upkeep? That's what worries me the most. Not what other people will think or if I will like it, but how I will maintain it and how to go back if I tire of it.
