California day 1: Long Beach!

This morning we left sunny Portland for rainy California, and headed straight to Long Beach! After so many of you insisted we go to 4th st we were pretty excited to get there. We went to about four or five vintage clothing shops, but these three were my favorites, I found something wonderful at each one. And the owner of Liberty reads Vixen Vintage! How cool is that? We took some photos together but they turned out a bit blurry :( But I'll post one on my Facebook though if Bridget is reading this!
At The Vintage Collective I found an adorable bed jacket with kittens on it, but the shape was awful on me so I didn't end up buying it, even though it was too cute!
I'm sure I'll come back to 4th st again, the stores had great selections, great prices, and the owners/employees were really nice and helpful. I just hope to come back on a bright and sunny day ;)

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

You look adorable, as usual. If you can, I suggest you drive a little more south to my local spot, San Clemente. There are a three vintage spots to hit in downtown San Clemente on Avenida Del Mar, starting at San Clemente Antiques (where I have a booth). They can give you a map for the other vintage clothing spots in the area. It's becoming quite a mecca. I hope you can make it! Enjoy your holiday in rainy So. Cal.!

Love your outfit, the little hat is so cute! Those shops look like a treasure trove, the bed jacket is very sweet. What a shame it didn't look too good on you! xx

I love your outfit. The skirt and hat combination is great! And I love that you are wearing thin fold-down anklets with your Mary-Janes. Such a precious authentic vintage touch. Hope we get to see more pictures of you in your inspiring outfits

Sorry about the rain! That darn El Nino. But at least I don't have to water my poor excuse for a garden!

Glad you are having fun at the vintage stores. I am just dying to go shopping and not having the wherewithal to do so is killing me! So I will shop vicariously through you!
