Monday evening I went with a couple of friends to Pix Patisserie, a little dessert shop in Portland. It was adorable! It's very Pushing Daisies. We each got a little dessert and shared, but they were so rich we couldn't finish! They also had a "snack menu" with paninis that looked yummy, and a counter full of candy for your inner child (or your four year old). As we were leaving our waiter ran out with my sunglasses and gloves, I forgot to take them with me! Everything was so distracting :)

Thank you Kendra for taking pictures!

Okay, okay, I'm jumping up and down. WHY? The owner/creator of Pix, Cheryl, was my roommate while she went to culinary school in Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO SO SO proud of how successful and amazing I've heard PIX has become. I've yet to visit it, but I DID get to taste loads of her creations in their early forms! I DIGRESS. You look perfectly delicious in that outfit!

That bakery looks amazing! I still have yet to find a proper bakery in my city; last time I went to one was up on Long Island, NY. Nothing better than fresh-baked treats! :D

That outfit is too cute. Very Chuck. That shop is too cute too. It is my greatest dream to open a pie shop like the Pie Hole.

Yum! I really like the close up photo of you and your friend---something about the juxtaposition of her bright yellow shirt with your pink dress---such a great summer picture!

Dang, I miss Pushing Daisies.
