your eyes are intensely beautiful in the second shot. you behave so naturally elegant in front of a camera, I hope to one day have your poise. for now, I'm fine with looking like a babboon. the suit is elegance at its best

This post has made my day. I think Christian Dior would be very proud to see you wearing his style so beautifully and reading his book over 50 years after he created the New Look. You epitomize everything I love about vintage (and you have also given me the courage to wear my lace veil hat that has been sitting in my wardrobe for months!). Best of luck with th move - my husband and I just moved from Australia to France for 2 years and packing all my vintage was quite a job. I was thinking 'I really shouldn't buy anymore vintage' but then I see one of your posts and I change my mind! Thank you.

Most of these look like photo shoots from the fifties for Vogue (or possibly the Times Magazine, but in the former the article would be about your fashion and the latter probably about the business or politics you are doing at the Governor's place!)

Your pictures are beautiful and that suit is amazing. Such a great idea to pin the brooch near your waistline, I would have thought of that! I look forward to your next photo shoot!
