Miss Marple

Most girls my age look up to tv characters on Gossip Girl, or American Idol (?). Ew.

But I was sooooooo excited when Miss Marple started up again last night on PBS. I love her every little hat, carpet bags, 30s sweaters, and not to mention the whole solving mysteries thing. I would raid her closet in a heartbeat. The stories are in two parts, every Saturday night, and last year I ALWAYS saw the first part, and missed the conclusion. Last nights episode I had seen last summer, but I WILL see next weeks episode so I will actually know how it ends. My Saturday nights are reserved for Miss Marple.

Oh, I'm the same! Except I like Poirot way more than Miss Marple :-)

Oh I've never seen it, but I'll watch it when it comes on in June :)

Maybe I'll check it out! pbs is like the only channel we get anyways. I bet my sister would like it, she adores mysteries. Happy Easter!

Ooh, I watched 'The Moving Finger' not long ago and I wanted to raid EVERYONE'S closets ... there were some incredible, immaculate 50's looks in that episode :)

and I thought I was the only one who think Miss Marple is a fashion icon! Such a cosy, feminine way of dressing. I'd happily commit a crime to get my paws on that carpet bag!

Oh I enjoy watching Miss Marple (much more than Poirot!). Took me a while to get used to this actress playing the part (I still see her as Miss Farnaby in the show Mulburry). I'm glad the show is coming back.

I completely agree with you : Miss Marple is really great.

I watch it every wednesday at 1.30 PM with a huge cup of tea on French TV.

P.S : I REALLY like your blog :-)
