I love the amount of color in our house, especially in the dishes. I've collected vintage china for plates, and found about half a dozen tea cups and saucers at a thrift store, all mis-matched, but somehow go together perfectly. I can't wait to be in a house where we can paint the walls!

Oooooo I know that feeling I have collected so many vintage mis matched plates and home stuff and long for a home of my own to have it all ready for use, I love the tea pot so cute x x
You need to frame her properly in some Deco-enameled-pastel version.
She is a mirror of your visions.
Prop her up and display her on the vanity.
I totally agree!! I so look forward to being able to finally move into a place and paint the walls!
Oh gosh, deleted my own comment. What a dummy.
She does need a proper frame, I'd really like to hang her up in the hat room for all to see :) She needs a name too!
Mmmmm pancakes. Those look yummy!
Uh, I kind of love everything in that photo. Those plates are what I have in my mind for my 'next' dishes...
As for the lovely lady's name...what about Midge? Is she a Midge? Is Midge too cliche?
Oh I love your dishes! I recently came across a whole set similar to your blue plate, and oh my, did I pine for it. It was just a *little* bit out of my price range, but it was lovely. The teapot is beautiful as well - I love vintage tea items (pots, cups, saucers, tea balls...), and that is quite a perfect one.
She looks like a Marjorie or a Frances. :)
Beautiful place setting! I know where the rest of your green dishes are from that photo- at my mother's house. She bought them from a retiree who was liquidating everything to move- and it's a huge set! They are beautiful! We have used them on many special occasions and they mix and match so well. I will show mom your pic!
I love those plates, I think I have a couple dinner plates and a few dessert plate, they have a giant magnolia in the middle :)
oh man I can't wait to be in a house to decorate as well! This photo is amazing!
I know just what you mean about a house to decorate! I love that teapot, so pretty!
Oh that looks like a wonderful way to start the day:)
